Everyone gets what they deserve. I have been thinking about this topic for days and I have started to see its many angles. But I am interested in one of them mainly, is it encoded in our behaviors? Can we attract our fates? The beginning of this rumination was a story, which was told to me by one of my acquaintances some days ago. He knew a family who lived in a big, modern, and valuable house in a big yard in a big city. Parents had four children, but the couple’s marriage started to be dysfunctional and their relationship became worse and worse. One day, they woke up in the middle of the night to find that their house was full of smoke and it came from the basement, where their cars were. Firemen arrived and raked out the fire, but the couple’s house became untenantable. And the mother realized that it was the proper time to separate from her husband. She moved with their children to a flat, and the man moved into a house. He made a decision about handling the problems of the house a
